Consumers Credit Union welcomes new board member

KALAMAZOO, MI (April 23, 2024) — The Lansing area’s Megyn Forest has been officially added as a member of the Board of Consumers Credit Union effective April 2024. Forest is the executive director and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region, where she has a personal connection with the agency’s mission, seeing firsthand the lifelong impacts that a mentorship has on both the mentor and mentee.

“We are very excited to have Megyn join us,” said Scott Sylvester, Consumers CEO and president. “Her passion for youth and making meaningful connections in our Lansing market will be a valuable asset to our board.”

Forest has over 10 years of experience working with youth in the nonprofit sector. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and nonprofit leadership.

“Consumers Credit Union’s mission of servant leadership aligns with my work on a daily basis,” said Forest. “I’m thrilled to represent the greater Lansing community and look forward to learning and growing with Consumers.”
