Corporate Central hosts successful Digital Marketing Forum

MILWAUKEE, WI (March 27, 2023) — Credit union marketing professionals from across the country participated in Corporate Central’s Digital Marketing Forum held virtually on March 22. Presenters covered topics including search engine optimization (SEO), digital advertising, social media marketing, and other trending digital marketing topics. Eligible attendees were able to earn CPE credits if they met the required criteria for the forum.

“Corporate Central strives to provide relevant educational offerings to help our members grow and succeed,” said Jesse Kohl, SVP Corporate Development, who moderated the event. “This forum is designed to help credit unions prosper in this ever-changing digital age and we appreciate all the presenters and panelists for their time, insights, and advice.”

Presenters and topics covered included:

  • Sarah Best, CEO + Chief Strategist at Sarah Best Strategy, presented how semantic SEO is changing the game when it comes to where businesses show up in a Google search. She talked about recent changes to the search algorithm that have changed the way businesses need to write website content if they want to show up in search rankings.
  • Brittany Jordan, an Independent Digital Marketing Consultant, presented how to build credibility for websites while keeping ad spend low. She discussed Google Ads, a variety of ways to build online presence, and spoke in detail about increasing backlinks to websites all helping to reduce costs on advertising.
  • Josh Klemons, Digital Storyteller/Strategist and Founder of Reverbal Communications, presented 10 social media tips and strategies businesses, including credit unions, should be using today. He covered topics including the importance of blogging, understanding analytics, and the why and how to optimize social accounts.
