Corporate Central offers #iCreditUnion video for staff motivation & training purposes
MILWAUKEE, WI (May 24, 2018) — Corporate Central Credit Union is offering all credit unions looking for staff training and motivational tools to use its new video, #iCreditUnion, as an additional teaching resource. Introduced at Corporate Central’s 2018 annual meeting, the video tells the story of the “credit union difference.” Through staff and member responses to the question, “Why do you credit union?” it shines a bright light on the powerful, positive impact credit unions and their employees have on people’s lives.
“We created this video so that credit union employees can see just how incredibly significant they are in making a difference,” said Chris Felton, Corporate Central President/CEO. “There are no actors in this video. They are real people with real stories, and for some, their credit union has been their lifeline. After viewing the video, we hope credit union employees will realize that every single day—they are rays of hope, builders of dreams, creators of peace-of-mind, agents of financial literacy and sometimes, the only opportunity for human connection for so many. We hope that what they see makes them proud.”
“I’ve showed the video 25-30 times already—to different groups—because I want every one of our staff members to realize their impact,” said Rob Langsford, President/CEO Forward Financial Credit Union of Niagara, Wisconsin. “I want them to know they really do make a difference. We will be hiring more staff this summer and we plan to use the iCreditUnion video as part of our hiring and training process. It hits home with what credit unions are all about. It shows our purpose. It’s empowering.”
