Credit union announces senior management changes

Wickes named Vice President of Lending

CENTENNIAL, CO (October 22, 2020) — Columbine FCU Announces Wickes as VP of Lending 

Columbine Federal Credit Union serving the Denver Metro area since 1957 announced that Tina Wickes has joined the executive management team as Vice President of Lending.  Wickes will assume the responsibilities of the Credit Union’s full-scale lending programs from direct and indirect consumer lending to mortgages and member business loans.  Her role will oversee daily operations, assist in developing and executing Columbine’s strategic plan and vision, and leading her team. 

“Tina is truly one of the next rock stars within the Credit Union movement. She has demonstrated authentic leadership, a passion for coaching staff, and dedication to impacting the lives of credit union members,” said newly appointed CEO Arick Williams.  “She will be an absolute asset to the Columbine Family, in the Board Room, and for our 7,200 members.”  

Wickes’ career spans over 20 years including the past decade serving as the Consumer and Business Services Lending Manager for both Denver Community Credit Union and OnTapCredit Union.  Prior to excelling in these roles, Wickes developed her lending expertise as a consumer loan underwriter with Wells Fargo Bank, a senior buyer for a major auto lender, and a dealer service representative for AmeriCredit Financial Services.  Tina’s depth of experience with indirect lending is valuable to the continued growth and success of Columbine’s unique Indirect Powersports Program and both their Indirect Auto Buying and Refinancing platforms. 

When asked how she thought about the opportunity, Wickes responded, “I am thrilled to be joining the Columbine Family as Vice President of Lending.  I share in the passion of people helping people and work hard to support the foundation on which credit unions were formed, serving our members.  I am committed to not only impacting the Credit Union Movement but impacting the lives of our employees as well.   I look forward to helping our members and employees grow and succeed.”
