Credit Union CEO heads to Washington D.C. to accept Adoption Hall Of Fame Award

GLENDORA, CA (June 11, 2015) — The National Council for Adoption (NCFA) has selected Mendell L. Thompson, President and CEO of America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), into their Adoption Hall of Fame for his tireless advocacy in defending the cause of the fatherless. The National Council for Adoption will honor Mr. Thompson at the “Great Expectations – A Celebration of Adoption” gala ceremony on November 5, 2015, in Washington, DC.

Thompson is being honored for his visionary leadership in spearheading the adoption program at America’s Christian Credit Union. Since 2009, ACCU has helped nearly 1,200 children find their forever families. In response to the news of receiving this award Thompson said, “This is such an honor and we are so blessed by what God is doing in the lives of these families. We believe that every child deserves a forever family and will continue to work every day to advance the cause of adoption.”
