Credit unions to “take charge” of training at 2014 CUNA Experience learning live!

MADISON, WI (June 2, 2014) — CUNA has announced that CUNA Experience Learning Live!, an annual program bringing crucial training updates and educational tools to credit union trainers, will take place October 26-29, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. Registration and event details are available at training.cuna.org/ell.

“Last year’s take-charge program really struck a chord with attendees,” said program manager Marlo Foltz, VP of Blended Learning at CUNA. “So we’re building on the idea this year, with the timely updates and action-driving resources to ensure that professional development programs movement-wide are being led by talented, take-charge trainers.”

This year’s program will feature updates on the latest training trends, bring insights and advice from leading experts in employee engagement and provide access to some of the best educational development tools available. Attendees will return to their credit unions better able to:

·         Captivate employee attention and inspire new levels of diligence and best practices

·         Build original and effective custom training programs to immediately apply

·         Advance their educational and service cultures organization-wide

In addition, CUNA is now accepting entries for this year’s CUNA Experience Learning Live! (ELLy) Training Awards, recognizing the innovative and unique initiatives of take-charge trainers across the nation. Award winners will each receive one complimentary registration to CUNA Experience Learning Live! in 2014, as well as national recognition in industry training and credit union publications. The winning professional development programs will be displayed on-site at CUNA Experience Learning Live!
