CU Direct Corporation Recognizes two Credit Unions for Excellence in Lending
Washington D.C., September 16, 2011 — CU Direct Corporation (www.cudirect.com), parent for the CUDL, Lending Insights, and the new Lending 360 and CUDL Retail brands, has announced the winners of their 2011 Diamond Awards. The awards were presented in front of more than 150 credit union attendees and guests, during the CUSO’s Lending Redefined Conference, held this week at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel.
A highlight during the two day conference, the event’s Awards Dinner recognized two credit unions for their excellence in lending practices and overall success in 2010. During the dinner, Madison, Wisconsin’s Summit Credit Union and Riverdale, Utah-based America First Credit Union were awarded by CU Direct for their continued success in advancing their lending programs and championing the importance of a credit union-owned delivery channel.
Summit Credit Union successfully increased their funded auto loans by 54% from June of 2010 to June of 2011, with 42% of their funded loans year-to-date going to existing members, while America First Credit Union ranked second in funded loans on CU Direct’s CUDL lending platform over the last year, and successfully increased their look to book ratio by nearly 40%.
