CU Members Mortgage hosts timely webinar with ACUMA: “How to Build Your Team in Today’s Remote Environment”

DALLAS, TX (May 29, 2020)CU Members Mortgage will host a timely webinar in partnership with the American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA) entitled: “How to Build Your Team in Today’s Remote Environment: Recruit, Develop and Retain Talent.” This webinar, featuring Humanidei President/CEO Jill Nowacki, will occur June 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (PST).

Nowacki will address longer-term shifts to remote work and new approaches to recruiting, developing, and retaining talent. Plus, she will explore associated challenges and opportunities in the remote workplace that will leave participants with ideas and actions that can help shape their approach to recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent in a remote work environment.

According to Nowacki, U.S. companies (credit unions included) that had never previously considered employing a remote workforce found themselves taking swift action the first few weeks of March 2020. Business continuity depended on setting up virtual workplaces and rapidly deploying a remote workforce. In the long weeks that followed, employees settled into their remote workspaces and organizations realized how much could be accomplished in a virtual environment.

“Now, the question is,” she asks, “how do you put the remote work genie back in the bottle? Or do you even want to?”

“With remote workforces permeating every industry worldwide, we felt this topic was extremely timely and helpful for future plans, as we emerge into recovery mode,” said Steve Hewins Senior Vice President of CU Members Mortgage.  “Who better than to lead us in this conversation than Humanidei’s Jill Nowacki. We can’t wait to hear what she has to say based on her vast experience to get us all moving in the right direction when it comes to building the right team. Our ‘new normal’ future really depends on it.”

“ACUMA’s mission is to provide education and networking to our members. During these unique times partners such as CU Members Mortgage are helping us do that by hosting webinars for our “ACUMA on the Go” programs,” said ACUMA President Tracy Ashfield. “These sessions give our members the opportunity to come together virtually and gain knowledge from industry leaders.”
