CU On The Water conference coming in May 2023
LANGHORNE, PA (January 5, 2023) — CU On The Water is the most unique learning experience for credit union executives. Luxury Learning, VIP Networking Opportunities, and Provoking Keynote Speakers are waiting for those who seek a different professional development opportunity – all aboard a yacht.
CU On The Water introduced education with a new point-of-view in 2022. Back for its second year, the destination event will deliver two days of immersive workshops and VIP networking aboard the Venetian Lady Yacht on Miami’s Biscayne Bay.
EmpowerFi™, a strategic marketing and transformational growth firm for credit unions, announces its second annual CU On The Water, an immersive learning and networking experience for credit union leaders.
“The EmpowerFi™ team, led by Hilary Reed and Kelly Hellickson, leveled up what a credit union conference can be. The mix of CU industry leaders along with advertising, branding, and corporate culture experts from Adworthy, PepsiCo, and Google made for dynamic conversations over the two days aboard the Venetian Lady Yacht. I can’t wait to see what the 2023 conference brings!” noted James Dawson from Alta Vista Credit Union.
Happening May 1 – 2, 2023 in Miami, FL, the credit union conference delivers an education like no other found in the industry. Participants will experience two days of immersive workshops and VIP networking, paired with excursions that will broaden perspectives and foster collaboration.
CU On The Water creates a new professional education category as the “only luxury learning experience for credit union executives”. This second annual event will take place on the Venetian Lady, a yacht operating on Biscayne Bay in Miami.
Kelly Hellickson, President & CXO for EmpowerFi™ says: “Our roster is open to the first 50 attendees, so participants can expect an intimate event surrounded by the beauty of Biscayne Bay. Expect curated experiences, concierge attention, special excursions and relaxation like no other. This is the only event of its kind that the industry has seen, all while on a yacht.”
In addition to the limited number of registrants and VIP treatment, organizers are promising exclusive content from a carefully curated lineup of presenters. Presenters are set to arm those in attendance with new strategies, insights, motivation and know-how, to take their respective credit unions to the next level.
Michael Fillios, CEO at CU Ally shared after attending the 2022 event: “Exceptional people, conference, weather, information and networking at CU On The Water in Miami. This ranks up there as one of the best events I’ve been a part of.”
The agenda is built to help spur on fresh ideas through a curated lineup of presenters from brands like Pepsico, NHL, ClickUp and more. Sponsorship opportunities for credit union supporting organizations are available. Sponsors will join credit union executives in a more intimate learning environment conducive to quality relationships.
EmpowerFi™ CEO, Hilary Reed encourages attending CU On The Water with a different mindset. “We’re thrilled to continue bringing collaborative leaders across the credit union industry together to grow with one another in an unconventional setting,” she said. “It’s really an opportunity to shift what you know about traditional conferences and credit union gatherings.” CU On The Water will enable leaders to gather with experts from national brands outside of the industry. The event will ignite new personal networking relationships and spur extraordinary ideas.
Reed continued, “Beyond immersive learning sessions, we’ve sought to bring thoughtful touches to this event. We’ve collaborated with local guides and partners that will provide our attendees with a curated Miami experience. We hope people will not only leave with rich ideas but with a refreshing taste of local food, music, and entertainment representative of the diverse and multicultural Miami region.”
Registrations are accepted through April 2023. It is highly recommended to sign up quickly, as the event is limited to the first 50 attendees. Visit CUOnTheWater.com to register and to download the complete CU On The Water guide
