During the Michigan Credit Union League/CU Solutions Group Annual Convention and Exposition, CU Solutions Group President/CEO Dave Adams unveiled the forthcoming launch of LifeSteps Wallet, an innovative mobile application designed to keep credit unions top-of-wallet and top-of-mind.
Through their credit union’s branded LifeSteps Wallet app, members will be able to browse new homes and automobiles, access coupons and exclusive discounts, access business directories, store documents, make mobile payments and much more. The application, currently in development, is slated for release in fall 2017.
As previewed by Adams, the app allows credit unions to be there for the everyday moments when their members use their phones to seek information about life’s big financial decisions. More importantly, all of these solutions point the member right back to the credit union for payments, transactions and financing.
“The LifeSteps Wallet can be a multi-featured ‘container’ app for all existing credit union service apps, including mobile banking. The vision is to provide members with simple mobile tools that help save time and money,” said Dave Adams, CEO/chairman of LifeStep Solutions™ and president/CEO of CU Solutions Group. “The credit union brand and marketing messaging will keep the credit union's services top-of-mind as members do research, shop, maintain home and auto, and plan for the future.”
Adams gave attendees a demo of the mobile app, exhibiting its customizability, interface and content and that utilizes Yelp, Zillow, Houzz, AutoSmart, PayPal, Venmo, Home Advisor and many others. Adams’ unveiling, and subsequent demonstration of the LifeSteps Wallet mobile application, can be viewed here.
