CU*Answers Secures New Collections Clients

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (May 31, 2013) CU*Answers lending management group Lender*VP has secured two more clients for handling their collections. Ripco Credit Union in Wisconsin and First Financial Credit Union in Illinois have hired CU*Answers to assist in their collections work. The Lender*VP team offers early stage collections in an attempt to filter out the simple fixes and narrow down a reason behind the delinquency. Using this method the team has a better chance of getting a permanent solution to the delinquency leaving high-level collections work for the credit union where direct officer input is required.

CU*Answers has offered this concept for over seven years to their CU*BASE® clients so they can use the same core data system for keeping security at its highest level. By hiring knowledgeable players the credit union reduces the chance of FDCPA violations and still maintains the continuity of having the exact information the branches are viewing.

“We have found many of our clients like the fact that we can access real-time data from the CU*BASE system directly and post notations on the account so any staff member can see what steps have been taken. It saves time and reduces errors in data transmission as opposed to using an outside source”, stated Jerry Collins the Team Leader.
