CUES brings payments school to the credit union industry
MADISON, WI (January 7, 2015) — Responding to industry needs and requests from members, CUES is pleased to bring the inaugural CUES School of Payments™ to credit union leaders, May 12-13, 2015, at the Warwick Allerton Hotel, Chicago.
“Payment strategies credit unions choose to implement not only have an immense impact on overall member satisfaction, they also have a direct effect on their bottom line,” said Chuck Fagan, CUES’ president/CEO. “CUES School of Payments will cover the latest in payment trends and best practices.”
Instructors include Arnie Goldberg, director of business development, and Tom Chandler, managing partner & business strategy, Advisors Plus; and Terence Roche, principal, Cornerstone Advisors, Inc.
“Looking toward the future, the payments world continues to evolve and has become more and more complex,” said Goldberg. “Technology is changing, regulatory actions are increasing in frequency and the competition from incumbents and disrupters is fierce. Our experts will provide you with the insights you need to compete and prosper.
“The CUES School of Payments will help you better understand and navigate through this challenging, yet rewarding, environment. For instance, who is managing your payments programs today? How do you measure success? What are the financials, and to what level do they drive earnings at my credit union? What are the levers my credit union can pull to drive greater profitability?” said Goldberg.
Topics covered at CUES School of Payments will include:
– Economic and regulatory factors
– A look at the competition
– Emerging technology
– Performance metrics
“School attendees will receive a copy of CUES’ newest research report, Scenarios for Payments 2020, as well as a comprehensive payments strategy, and valuable service and marketing ideas,” said Fagan.
