MADISON, Wis. – The Credit Union Executives Societys CEO Institute I: Strategic Planning, April 15-20, University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, is sold out.

Sixty credit union professionals have registered for the first week of CEO Institute, bringing the program to capacity, said Fred Johnson, CUES president/CEO. And, we continue to get calls from executives who would like to register. Fortunately, the institutes may be taken out of order, so anyone who was planning to attend the first week of CEO Institute may instead register for CEO Institute II or III.

Im pleased so many credit unions realize education is vital to success, said Johnson. The fact that the first week of CEO Institute sold out this year, despite many credit unions facing uncertain times, is a testament to the programs value and results.

CEO Institute is a challenging academic and leadership program held in one-week segments over three years at the nations top business schools. In addition to CEO Institute I, the program includes CEO Institute II: Organizational Effectiveness, April 22-27, Johnson at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.; and CEO Institute III: Strategic Leadership Development, May 6-11, at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, Charlottesville, Va.

Since 1995, 802 credit union executives have completed all three segments of the CEO Institute program. Executives who complete all three years of the CEO Institute program and two post-segment projects are eligible to become Certified Chief Executives (CCE).
