CUES donates $10,000 to UW Carbone Cancer Center

MADISON, WI (March 3, 2014) —CUES is pleased to announce it is supporting the University of Wisconsin (UW) Carbone Cancer Center with a $10,000 donation.  The donation will be used to sponsor three of their fundraising events:

– UW Carbone’s Pedaling for Pancreas Cancer, May 10, 2014, is a ten mile bike ride following area bike paths and trails in Verona, Wis.

– Drive for Hope is an annual golf outing and dinner benefiting the “Creating Hope” lung cancer research fund. Date and location for the 2014 event are currently being finalized.

– Carbone’s Race for Research, Sept. 13, 2014, is a 5K run/walk along the shores of Lake Mendota and through the University of Wisconsin, Madison campus.

The UW Carbone Cancer Center is recognized throughout the Midwest and the U.S. as one of the leading innovators in cancer research, quality patient care and active community involvement. The UW Carbone Cancer Center is the only comprehensive cancer center, as designated by the National Cancer Institute, in Wisconsin.
