Madison, Wis.—The Credit Union Executives Society is pleased to announce Linda Moulin, senior vice president/corporate development, Affinity Credit Union, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, is its 2011 CUES Future Leader. She will be honored at CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network™, on Sunday, November 6, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Throughout Moulin’s 30-year career she has provided strong direction, expert advice, and solid leadership. She was a leader in the merger/partnership which doubled the size of her organization, making it one of the top 10 largest credit unions in Canada.
Moulin’s impressive accolades include the “Canadian Community Development Award” from the Canadian Co-operative Society, “Saskatchewan Community Economic Development Award” from the Saskatchewan Association of Business Excellence (SABEX), and she was twice named among “Saskatoon’s Best” by Awards for Business Excellence by the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce (ABEX).
“CUES applauds Linda for her focus, dedication and conviction to strengthening her credit union, the movement and her community,” said CUES president/CEO, Fred Johnson. “She empowers others to succeed and her personal dedication to strong business growth is truly admirable.”
The CUES Future Leader award recognizes non-CEO credit union executives for superior commitment to their credit union, the movement and continuing education. Nominees are evaluated on their accomplishments within their credit union and the movement; contributions made to CUES and its Councils; ongoing professional development; a letter of recommendation from their CEO; and community contributions. Additionally, the judges review the nominees’ leadership goals and problem-solving abilities.
