CUES Partners with BoardSource to Bring New Education Suite to Credit Union Directors MADISON, Wis.-The Credit Union Executives Society is pleased to announce it has partnered with BoardSource, the nation*s leading resource on nonprofit governance, to bring a new direction in governance education to the movement.
Set to launch on June 15, the Center for Credit Union Board Excellence (CCUBE), Powered by CUES, will offer online resources for credit union volunteers covering topics of vital concern for every board member.
BoardSource will bring its nonprofit governance expertise to CCUBE, and serve as a key source of content for the site.
A subscription to CCUBE will include access to articles, white papers, podcasts and videos, plus a library of CUES and BoardSource publications for purchase. Subscriptions will also include a full BoardSource membership, which offers access to members-only online resources, a subscription to Digital Board Member, a monthly e-newsletter, a free annual membership to PR Newswire and access to more than $2,000 in free and discounted services, and more.
CCUBE is designed for boards to use as a group or individually. It will promote high standards for board knowledge and performance through a rigorous but practical blend of theory and experience.
CUES recently named nine industry experts as advisors to CCUBE; among them is Michael G. Daigneault, senior governance consultant, BoardSource, Washington, D.C. Daigneault will also speak at two CUES events this year:
Director Development Seminar, September 15-17, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; and Directors Conference, December 5-8, Phoenix.
