CUNA & ACUIA Internal Audit Certification School certifies 65 internal auditors

WASHINGTON, DC (November 7, 2017) — Sixty-five credit union professionals expanded their auditing skillsets, developed their analytical acumen and earned their Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA) designations at the fall offering in Tempe, AZ of the 2017 CUNA & ACUIA Internal Audit Certification School.

These new CCUIAs will return to their credit unions to manage internal audit communications, evaluate internal controls and risks, and conduct fraud/employee investigations.

“You will learn a lot, and obtain a much bigger view of the internal audit world,” said Mindy Mills, senior internal auditor, Schools First FCU of her experience at the school. “You will also have the opportunity to network and meet great people from around the US; causing you to look outside your box and providing you an incredible perspective of how credit unions across the nation operate.”

The next CUNA & ACUIA Internal Audit Certification School takes place March 19-22, 2018, in Dallas. You can learn more at cuna.org/iacs.
