Author, Philanthropist Mick Ebeling to discuss overcoming the “impossible”

WASHINGTON, DC (December 6, 2021) — Credit Union National Association (CUNA) announced that Mick Ebeling will be one of its keynote speakers for the 2022 Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). Author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Ebeling will take the main stage to discuss the fallacy of the “impossible,” and how to overcome it to reach true innovation.

“Mick brings his passion for innovation to CUNA GAC, a place where credit union professionals are eager to learn how to challenge the status quo,” said CUNA Chief Products and Services Officer Todd Spiczenski. “We’re thrilled to bring him to the mainstage and look forward to hearing his inspirational message.”

Ebeling was recently named by Fortune Magazine as one of the Top 50 World’s Greatest Leaders (2019), is a recipient of the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian of the Year Award (2014) and is listed as one of the world’s most influential creative people by The Creativity 50’s (2018).

Ebeling’s keynote speech, “The Fallacy of ‘Impossible’” examines how the modern conveniences we see every day were once considered impossible.

2022 CUNA GAC will take place in Washington, D.C. Feb. 27 through March 3. Ebeling will be the keynote presenter on Sunday, Feb. 27 for the Ed (Filene) Talk, sponsored by CUNA Councils.
