The CUNA National Credit Union Roundtable for Board Leadership brings together leaders from the largest credit unions in the country to discuss economic issues, membership growth strategies and governance regulations that impact the credit union industry as a whole. Each facilitated session at the roundtable is designed to foster a creative, innovative atmosphere. These discussions give attendees a comprehensive look at the issues facing credit unions today, and provide the opportunity for board leaders to network with their peers from other leading credit unions.

During this event, attendees will:

  • Examine the importance of enterprise risk management
  • Get updates on pressing industry topics
  • Learn the latest trends in governance
  • Engage in facilitated open discussions on key credit union topics
  • And more

“The CUNA National Credit Union Roundtable for Board Leadership stands out as the event for board members from top credit unions to connect with their peers,” said Todd Spiczenski, Vice President of the Center for Professional Development at CUNA. “Once a year these board leaders come together to discuss pressing issues, share best practices and learn innovative strategies. Most importantly, the roundtable fosters an excellent networking environment where credit union directors can comfortably converse about issues of the day.”

Being held immediately after the CUNA National Credit Union Roundtable for Board Leadership in Chicago, August 12-15, 2012, is the CUNA Economics & Investments Conference.  Featuring CUNA economists Bill Hampel and Mike Schenk, this conference gives credit union professionals an in-depth look at today’s national economic landscape and tomorrow’s economic future.
