CUNA ERM webinar series kicks off January 31, 2017

WASHINGTON, DC (January 26, 2017) — Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and Rochdale Paragon Group are teaming up for a three-part enterprise risk management (ERM) webinar series. Beginning January 31, 2017, the program offers a comprehensive introduction to ERM, a business discipline that helps organizations identify and respond to risk to their maximum benefit.

“We’ve created a trio of sessions that provide ERM novices the foundational knowledge they need to get started,” said Todd Spiczenski, chief products and services, association services administration at CUNA. “This program is a great entrée into a transformative philosophy that helps credit unions around the world improve their decision-making process, create value and compete.”

Session content is designed to provide attendees with practical ERM expertise. Jeff Owen, a client engagement specialist with Rochdale Paragon, will host the three webinars:

  • Understanding Enterprise Risk Management (January 31): Provides an introduction to ERM and its benefits, as well as a framework for implementing it at your credit union.
  • Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Appetite and Strategic Planning (February 14): Covers risk appetite statements and how to integrate risk appetite and ERM into your strategic planning.
  • The Evolution of Internal Audit, Supervisory Committees and Enterprise Risk Management (March 21):Addresses the philosophy of governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) and the value of integrating the three areas.
