CUNA Operations Sales & Service Council celebrates 900 members

MADISON, WI (August 6, 2015) — The CUNA Operations Sales & Service Council has reached the milestone of 900 members, a result of several years of impressive growth and a collective commitment to striving for excellence in the credit union industry. The Operations Sales & Service Council is currently the fastest-growing of the six CUNA Councils.

“The significant growth of the Operations Sales & Service Council indicates the desire within our industry to be part of a peer-led and discipline-focused organization,” says Steve Langley, Operations Sales & Service Council Executive Committee Chair and VP Member Services and Chief Retail Officer at Schools Financial CU in Sacramento, CA. “I feel fortunate to be part of an organization whose purpose is to connect credit union leaders who are equally committed to sharing resources and perspectives.”

Judy Kinney, Operations Sales & Service Council Membership Committee Chair and VP Retail Sales at LGE Community CU in Marietta, GA adds, “reaching this milestone confirms that the Council is a critical source for credit union leaders to connect with peers and grow professionally with strategic level resources. I am incredibly pleased members recognize the tremendous value they receive by being a member of the CUNA Operations Sales & Service Council.”

Credit union operations, sales, and service leaders who are not yet members may collaborate with 900-plus peers by joining the Council at www.cunacouncils.org. The Council’s 2015 National Conference is set for September 27 – 30, 2015 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL.
