CHILLIWACK, BC (April 2, 2014) —  Currency Marketing is addressing the need for engaging financial literacy tools by creating “It’s a Money Thing,” especially targeted to the hard-to-engage 25-and-under crowd.

It’s a Money Thing is a collection of effective and affordable financial education content. A new “content pack” is released monthly and tackles an important financial topic. The content packs include an entertaining video, infographic, presentation and article on the subject. It’s ideal content for posting to credit union websites and sharing on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest. The presentations are perfect for taking into high school and college classrooms.

“We’ve been studying the financial literacy space for some time and have recognized an opportunity to do something unique. Our experience with credit union clients who are trying to make in-roads with financial literacy and young adults has given us a deep understanding of the tools that credit unions need,” explains Tim McAlpine, Currency’s President & Creative Director.
