CUSO Welcomes New Owner

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (June 18, 2013) The Board of Directors of Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based CUSO, announced that it has approved its 71st equal owner – Hastings, Michigan-based Thornapple Valley Community Credit Union (www.tvccu.com; 4,477 members; $17.3M assets).  Xtend Board Chairman Steve Searfoss (AAA Federal Credit Union, South Bend, Indiana) announced the newest owner at the company’s 10th Annual Stockholder Meeting at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

CUSO President Scott Collins also welcomed TVCCU to its growing ownership contingent.  “On behalf of the Board of Directors and our other owners, I would like to formally welcome TVCCU to the CUSO.  I look forward to working closely with Amy (TVCCU CEO Amy Byers) and her team to strengthen each of our cooperatives.  My team also looks forward to working with TVCCU and its members for many years to come.”
