CUSOs complete “Hot Site” relocation for credit union

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (April 30, 2015) — Two CUSO partners, West Michigan-based CU*Answers and South Dakota-based Site-Four, recently completed the relocation of hot site disaster recovery support services for Harris County Federal Credit Union (Houston, Texas).

“The successful transition of the Harris County FCU backup server from our data center in Grand Rapids to the Site-Four location in Yankton is the result of a well-defined and well-executed project plan by the technical teams at both CUSOs and the credit union,” said Jeff Miller, CU*Answers OpsEngine Business Development Manager. OpsEngine, the production and operations center for CU*Answers, has been assisting clients in executing their BCRS plans and other business-related strategies.

Miller noted that Site-Four now serves as the business continuity hot site location for three self-processing credit unions utilizing CU*Answers’ core data processing suite. “We are encouraging all of our in-house clients to leverage the significant investments in both technology and infrastructure that our partners at Site-Four have made to support a growing number of businesses,” Miller concluded.
