CU*SWAG to Donate 100% of Profits to NCUF

Credit Union apparel line gives to Hurricane Sandy relief effort this Friday, November 9th

To help with disaster relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Sandy last week, CU*SWAG has designated this Friday, November 9th, as a day of donation. CU*SWAG strongly believes in the credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People’ and pledges to donate 100% of profits from orders placed November 9, 2012, to the National CU Foundation (NCUF).

“People helping people is a core credit union belief,” said James Robert Lay, Grower of Relationships. “Being on the Gulf Coast, we understand firsthand the disaster of a hurricane and want to offer our support for relief efforts along the East Coast while allowing credit unions to live the people helping people philosophy.”

CU*SWAG designates quarterly donation days for featured charities associated with credit unions. With the relief effort along the East Coast and the extreme need for assistance, CU*SWAG wanted to do more than just send in a check. The goal is reach as many credit unions as possible and have their money go straight to providing aid.

Tweet, post to Facebook, call, email or text your credit union friends to tell them about their opportunity to buy CU*SWAG and support relief efforts.  Help spread the word while showing members and the community the credit union love with a CU*SWAG shirt.

CU*SWAG is a graphic t-shirt line that allows you to connect with your employees and members. This gives them something fun to wear and turns them into advocates for your credit union. These shirts; made out of high quality material that feels good to the touch and fits well, have catchy graphics that your members will enjoy wearing and serve as your walking (and talking) billboards.
