CUTX offers employees paid time off to vote in the 2020 election

ALLEN, TX (October 27, 2020) — With the presidential election swiftly approaching, Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) is paying employees for time off to vote. From now until Election Day on Nov. 3, CUTX employees are eligible to take up to two paid hours off to cast their ballots.The credit union encourages its employees to avoid long lines on Election Day by voting early.

CUTX CEO Eric Pointer said, “Credit Union of Texas encourages employees to exercise their right to vote, because it is the single most important liberty they have as Americans. We are offering employees paid time off to vote in the upcoming election, so they can have their voices heard.”
