Daniel Laferla joins TMG as Vice President of Sales

DES MOINES, IA (February 17, 2016) — Payments processor TMG (The Members Group) today announced veteran sales strategist Daniel Laferla has joined the growing company as vice president of sales.

Laferla comes to TMG from technology solutions provider Jelecos, where he served as director of sales. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales for West Corporation, a position he took after a nearly 25-year career with Harland Technology Services.

Over the span of a 30-year career, Laferla has executed direct and channel sales plans to launch a variety of technology services, such as cloud services, IT consulting and security and compliance solutions. His achievements have led to dramatic revenue growth, as well as the development of more than 50 channel partnerships, all adding to the vitality of his employer companies. Territory management, demand generation and negotiation capabilities round out Laferla’s extensive list of professional skills.

According to TMG Senior Vice President of Growth Chris Gunnare, Laferla’s background in sales management and strategy are expected to accelerate TMG’s already fast-paced growth. As vice president of sales for TMG, Laferla will be responsible for creating successful, long-term partnerships with credit unions and community banks looking for flexible, customized payment solutions. He will set strategy around building TMG’s financial institution client base, which today includes seven of the 13 largest U.S. credit unions.

Laferla is a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Omaha and has completed a variety of sales training programs.
