DATCU breaks ground on new headquarters
DENTON, TX (October 8, 2014) — DATCU, a leading full-service credit union held a ceremony on Wednesday, September 24th, celebrating the groundbreaking of their new corporate headquarters in Corinth, TX. DATCU’s executive team, board members, employees, Corinth city officials and many others were in attendance.
In a prime Interstate 35E location near Corinth Parkway, the 52,000 square foot two story administrative facility is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2016. It will house approximately eighty back office employees including the executive team, accounting and finance, compliance and training, lending support, information technology, human resources, marketing, real estate support, and the virtual call center branch.
“We are extremely happy that DATCU has chosen Corinth for their corporate headquarters location. The mayor and city council and members of the Corinth EDC Board and DATCU have worked long and hard to make this project become a reality. We believe they will be an excellent community partner and will set the standards for high quality development along the I35 corridor,” stated Rick Chaffin, Corinth City Manager.

The architect and general contractor for the project is New Ground, a leading global company that imagines, designs, and implements retail and corporate environments. Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, they have offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Portsmouth, and Toronto.
