Park Community Credit Union is pleased to announce David Constantino as their new Chief Lending Officer. Constantino comes to Park Community with over 30 years of experience in lending and financial services. He has led teams in all areas of lending, including mortgages, consumer, commercial and credit services.
David most recently served as the Chief Lending Officer with Altura Credit Union, located in Southern California. He focused on increasing the loan portfolio and instituting process improvements for operations, production, and credit risk. While CLO, David created and implemented new product lines in various lending channels.
In addition, David served as President/Chief Operating Officer for Patrion Mortgage, wholly owned by Altura Credit Union. He transitioned a mortgage department into a full-service mortgage banking company that consisted of retail and wholesale lending. David extended mortgage services beyond Altura’s Member base and established partnerships with several credit unions throughout Southern California.
Prior to his position with Altura Credit Union, he served as the Senior Vice President of National Production for Aspire Lending/Catalyst Lending in Dallas, Texas. In this role he led the regional branch network in branch expansion, sales and business development, and profit and loss management. He played an integral role in growing the company’s national mortgage banking presence and production.
David has been an active board member for multiple non-profit organizations. He served as the Vice President of the Credit Union Real Estate Networking Group, the Treasurer for both the Lion’s Club and the Hemet Down-Town Business Cub, and an ambassador to the Hemet Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. His community involvement is extended through his work as a member of the Big Brother/ Big Sister program, student/athlete mentoring program and the President of the Booster club and Varsity football and soccer coach for Tahquitz High School in California.
David has two grown children, Cassidy and Cameron, who live in California. David is joined with his girlfriend, Grace, and currently resides in Louisville. David enjoys trail running and hiking, museums, and sporting events.
