GREENVILLE, SC (May 13, 2024)The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) is proud to announce a free educational webinar designed to strengthen credit unions’ advocacy when serving military personnel, veterans, and their families. This free webinar, “Strengthening Advocacy for Your Military & Veteran Members and Their Families,” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 1pm ET and is hosted by CUInsight.

Attendees will join DCUC President/CEO Anthony Hernandez, DCUC Chief Advocacy Officer Jason Stverak, and Dave Willis, President/CEO at Tinker Federal Credit Union as they discuss best practices, resources, and insights to improve and grow credit unions’ advocacy efforts. “The Defense Credit Union Council understands the unique opportunities and challenges that accompany the full military life cycle—whether a member is a young enlisted, or a veteran of many years. We prioritize these important communities and know our member credit unions share this same responsibility and dedication to service,” said Jason Stverak, DCUC Chief Advocacy Officer (CAO). “For this webinar, DCUC’s goal is to help educate and equip your credit union with the tools and resources to strengthen your advocacy efforts on behalf of your military and veteran membership.”

This free event will be presented on May 29, 2024, at 1pm Eastern via Zoom. Those interested in attending this virtual discussion should register here. Log-in information will be provided upon registration.
