Dort Federal Credit Union donates record $22,234.50 through Snowman fundraiser
GRAND BLANC, MI (January 17, 2018) — Dort Federal Credit Union is excited to announce the results of their 2017 Annual Snowman Sales fundraiser benefiting local charities. The 2017 beneficiaries, selected by Dort Federal Credit Union employees, will share the proceeds totaling $22,234.50. On January 15, 2018 Dort Federal Credit Union presented Whaley Children’s Center and Hospitality House at McLaren with checks in the amount of $11,117.25.
For more than 20 years, Dort Federal Credit Union has conducted the Annual Snowman Sales campaign through donations received from members throughout the holiday season. Dort Federal’s employees also contributed more than $4,000 to the campaign at Dort Federal’s employee holiday party in December.
“Our Dort Federal members and employees have a caring and compassionate spirit and this was demonstrated through the huge success of our 2017 Snowman Sales Campaign. Our 2017 Campaign ran from October 30th through December 9th and raised over $22,200.” said Deana Turcott, Director of Human Resources for Dort Federal. “Through the generosity of our members and employees, Dort Federal was thrilled to present checks totaling $11,117.25 to both Whaley’s Children’s Center and Hospitality House at McLaren.”
