Dover Federal Credit Union recognized with Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Partnership Award

The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce presented Dover Federal Credit Union with the Outstanding Partnership Award at the 2019 CDCC Awards for Excellence Dinner. This award represents recognition of organizations that are dedicated to keeping businesses growing in Kent County by providing hands on support and services to their clients. Dover Federal Credit Union President/CEO Chaz Rzewnicki stated that “the Chamber is a vital part of the communities that we live in and serve. We would be remised not to support them to the best of our ability.” Dover Federal has had representation on the Chamber Board for the past 14 years and serves as a cornerstone member of the CDCC. Sean Mace, past Chair of the CDCC, stated “Dover Federal Credit Union is a business who completely saturates the Dover area by providing an abundance of community support and leadership. If you talk to a member of their team they will tell you that they are here for you every step of the way, and that their members are their priority!  We are extremely grateful for their engagement with our organization and we thank them for their dedication, leadership, and their “get the job done attitudes.””

The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce was established in 1919 and serves the purpose of advocating for business which improves the economic well-being of the community. By actively working in economic and organizational development, as well as military and legislative affairs, and within the community, the CDCC helps to increase job opportunities, attract new industry and business, encourage civic and social programs, and promote business conduct. The CDCC also serves as a forum to articulate contemporary issues facing the business community and acts as a public relations medium for the problems, interests, and needs of its membership.
