E&A Credit Union Gives Scholarships to Bay-Rama Queen and Court

(June 25, 2013) E&A Credit Union got to help kick off the Bay Rama FishFly Festival on Wednesday, June 19th at the annual Bay Rama pageant. This year, there were 16 lovely ladies all vying for the coveted title of Miss Bay Rama. In the end, the title went to Alyssa Schuetz, winning her the crown and a $500 scholarship from E&A Credit Union. Each of Alyssa’s court members, Alexandria DeRita and Christy Burko, also received a $500 scholarship from E&A Credit Union.

“We are proud to be a part of this community”, Jeremy Bevard, branch manager at the New Baltimore location on Main Street, said just before the winners were announced. “We love being at events like this and providing the different sponsorships and scholarships to the queen and her court.”

This was E&A Credit Union’s second year providing the scholarships for the pageant winners, as well as sponsoring the fireworks display on June 20th.
