Educators Credit Union awarding $5,000 and more to members with Saver’s Sweepstakes

MT. PLEASANT, WI (September 6, 2018) — Educators Credit Union will give one member $5,000 this October to celebrate the launch of the Saver’s Sweepstakes! The Saver’s Sweepstakes is a statewide program that offers credit union members the chance to win money for saving.

Educators Credit Union members can win money throughout the year with the Saver’s Sweepstakes. Members earn an entry into the Sweepstakes for every $25 they make in month-over-month balance increases, up to six entries per month. These entries give members at Educators Credit Union the chance to win $100 each month, $1,000 each quarter, and another $5,000 grand prize in October 2019!

The Saver’s Sweepstakes is about more than prizes – it’s about encouraging people to create better savings habits.

“Educators Credit Union wants to help our members achieve their financial dreams,” said Senior Vice President of Marketing Shannon Huot. “Most of those dreams start with saving money. Leaving money in a savings account can be hard. We teamed with The Wisconsin Credit Union League to develop this program and reward good savings habits.”

Members can start saving in the Saver’s Sweepstakes now. The $5,000 winner – and first Saver’s Sweepstakes winner – will be announced on October 18 – International Credit Union Day.
