Enterprise Car Sales Drives $380 Million in CU Auto Loan Volume
CU partners benefit from Enterprise’s experience and insight into member behavior
January 11, 2013, St. Louis – Enterprise Car Sales, which specializes in working with credit unions of all sizes to increase auto loan volume, generated a total of more than $380-million in loan volume for credit unions through used car sales to more than 23,000 CU members during the 2012 calendar year.
The loan volume generated is 15 percent higher than the previous year, reflecting Enterprise Car Sales’ ongoing efforts to identify and meet the requirements of its credit union partners and retail customers. For example, in an independent research study commissioned by Enterprise Car Sales to determine the relative consumer appeal of a variety of car-buying incentives, respondents expressed greater interest in vehicle-related offers such as warranty protection than in promotional items such as high-definition TV sets. Those findings confirm the value to consumers of Enterprise Car Sales’ “Perfect Used Car Package,” which features a 12-month/12,000 mile limited powertrain warranty for every used car purchased.
“Partnerships between Enterprise Car Sales and credit unions are successful because we have a lot in common, including an unprecedented level of member service, along with a commitment to their local communities,” said Mark McAndrews, assistant vice president of Enterprise Car Sales. “For more than 30 years, our relationships with credit unions have continued to grow stronger and more productive. We’ve shared the most success when credit unions consider us a part of their overall auto strategy.”
Enterprise understands that a used car represents a major investment and member loyalty is impacted by value-added services. In addition to the warranty, Enterprise’s advantages include everything from Enterprise’s trademark no-haggle pricing, which eliminates the negotiating aspect of car buying, to a guaranteed seven-day or 1,000 mile repurchase policy, as well as a 109-point inspection performed by an ASE-certified technician and roadside assistance for one year.
“For our committed partners, we pride ourselves in sending their members back to the credit union for financing, 100 percent of the time,” said McAndrews.
