Financial Fitness Greater Austin Presented GTFCU Employee Rachel Fausett with Distinguished Partner Award

AUSTIN, TX (June 26, 2013) Rachel Fausett, Business Development Officer with Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU), was one of six presented with a Financial Fitness Greater Austin (FFGA) Distinguished Partner Award at the Annual Outcomes Potluck Luncheon on Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

Financial Fitness Greater Austin is an education and awareness initiative in partnership with more than 60 entities in the Greater Austin area. The goal of FFGA is to provide financial awareness and information to the Greater Austin community and emphasize the importance of financial literacy and the need for consumers to be proactive about managing their finances. www.financialfitnesaustin.org

Rachel Fausett has been with Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union for over 6 and ½ years as their primary Business Development Officer for the state of Texas. She has been volunteering with FFGA since its creation in 2008 and has been the web developer since May 2008 for www.financialfitnesaustin.org. She also partners with other organizations to donate her time around Austin and as volunteer Financial Educator for non-profit BiGAUSTIN since 2009. GTFCU has 17 locations across the state of Texas with over 66,000 members and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
