Firefly Credit Union® recently welcomed guidance counselors from District 191 for an externship program.
District 191’s externship program allows educators to explore local businesses and learn information about the workplace. The purpose of the program is to connect workplaces to educators and allow the knowledge to be shared with students. During the visit to Firefly’s corporate office, Firefly’s Executive Management team discussed potential job opportunities, skill and education requirements, work culture, and the credit union difference.
“We are always happy to inform others about Firefly,” said Marty Kelly, SVP/Chief Marketing Officer. “We hope the information shared during the externship helps educate students about what a credit union career might look like, and, specifically, what a career at Firefly might look like.”
