YORK, PA (November 2, 2021) — On Thursday, October 21, 2021 First Capital celebrated International Credit Union Day with a special event for its members! First Capital provided members with free lunch, offered free computer recycling with Omega ECycles, and had giveaways and drawings at all branches for members to win great prizes!
“We absolutely love giving back and going the extra mile for our members,” said Tara Houser VP of Marketing & Business Development. “It was great to celebrate International Credit Union Day with them to not only show our appreciation, but to make sure they are aware of all the benefits the Credit Union provides.”
Throughout the day, First Capital sold candy bars to raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of York-Adams Counties, our 4th Quarter FirstCap Gives Back charitable organization.
First Capital also hosted the Central PA Blood Mobile on-site at its West York branch for members and staff to donate blood. In all, the blood drive netted 15 units of blood which will help save 45 lives. For more information on how to donate blood visit 717GiveBlood.org.
