First Capital FCU employee wins Second Alternate in 2014 Pennsylvania Youth Ambassador Contest!

YORK, PA (May 23, 2014) — First Capital Federal Credit Union is proud to announce Devan DeShong, a First Capital employee and the York Chapter of Credit Unions youth ambassador, has been chosen as Second Alternate in the 38th Youth Ambassador of Pennsylvania Contest.  He competed against 13 other youth ambassadors from chapters around the state on May 19th.  DeShong was declared the 2nd Alternate during the PCUA Annual Convention & Exposition in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  The Winner was Lauren Hoffman from AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union and First Alternate went to Steven Dill from Widget Financial.  Devan received $500 and a clock for his win.

Devan is the Network Administrator at First Capital FCU and has been with the Credit Union for two years.  In his free time, Devan enjoys working on cars, restoring his Jeep, and playing guitar.
