First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, the #1 ranked credit union in PA by Forbes and leader in financial services innovation and inclusive banking in the Lehigh Valley, is pleased to announce the election of Amanda Seddon to its Board of Directors.
As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, First Commonwealth is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, Associate Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. First Commonwealth volunteers are charged with the credit union’s vision, long-term strategy and financial stability. “The board and management team has worked diligently to ensure that First Commonwealth’s leadership represents our membership and the communities we serve. I am delighted to welcome Amanda to our Board of Directors. Her impressive experience in being customer-service minded and employee-centric, coupled with her extensive background in organizational leadership, positions her to successfully help lead First Commonwealth in its strategic vision and continued growth,” said Donna LoStocco, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Commonwealth.
With an extensive human resources, communications and business background, Seddon is a seasoned leader with 10 years of experience focused on compensation, benefits and global mobility. Seddon is currently employed as a Compensation Manager at Henkel NA. Prior to this role, Seddon was employed by B. Braun Medical Inc., Bethlehem, PA in numerous analyst and human resources leadership roles and with Guardian Life Insurance as an HR Representative. She is a Lehigh Valley native and graduate of Moravian College, holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a Human Resources professional certificate from Cornell University and is a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). True to the First Commonwealth mission, Seddon is passionate about doing good and giving back. She has held numerous volunteer leadership roles, currently serves on the Board of the American Cancer Society’s Lehigh Valley Chapter and was previously the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Bethlehem and a mentor at Moravian College. Additionally, Seddon previously served on First Commonwealth’s Associate Board since July 202v0.
