First Financial gives to WBAL Kids Campaign

LUTHERVILLE, MD (December 27, 2018)First Financial Federal Credit Union donated $5,000 to WBAL News Radio’s Kids Campaign to give back to kids in need this holiday season. This year’s Kids Campaign, which was broadcast live December 20 and December 21 on WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5, will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters at the Y, the Helping Up Mission, and Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore.

“First Financial is excited to support this cause because we admire the work of the organizations that will benefit this year,” said Stephanie Peltzer, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, who presented the donation during the broadcast. “First Financial is honored to be a part of any campaign that strives to have a lasting, positive impact on children and families in our community.”

The Kids Campaign was broadcast from the Valley View Farms Garden Center and Nursery in Cockeysville, providing a lively and festive backdrop for the event, which featured musical holiday performances by numerous area school choirs, instrumental groups, and other performers. First Financial shared some of its time from the campaign online via a Facebook live video on the First Financial Facebook page.
