Following its 31st annual meeting, CUSO AUX announces new board managers for its back-office and shared branch network businesses

LAKEWOOD, CO (September 14, 2023)A new Board of Managers was approved for both Aux and its shared branch network, InNetwork. The CUSO held its Annual Shareholder meeting on August 10, 2023.  The Denver-based, CUSO is excited to share these developments below and is confident the Board is committed to helping guide the CUSO’s continued growth and support to the credit union movement.

Terri Mickelsen, CEO of Clean Energy Credit Union, was appointed to replace Carrie Langgard, CEO of Sooper Credit Union, on both the Aux and InNetwork Boards.  Carrie resigned from the Aux and InNetwork Boards following the Annual Meeting.  Carrie had served in numerous capacities on both Boards since her election to the Boards in 2018. Aux thanks Carrie for her dedicated service and commitment to the CUSO and the credit union industry.

Aux Board of Managers

Within Aux, the back-office part of the CUSO, providing accounting, CFO consulting, and compliance support to over 100 credit unions nationwide, Dave Krause, President/CEO of UniWyo Credit Union, was elected the Board’s chairperson.  Dave was initially elected to the Aux Board in 2019 and has served as a Board member since then, as well as being elected vice chairperson last year.

Additionally, Terri Mickelsen was elected vice chairperson and Mike Merryman, CEO of Department of the Interior FCU, was re-elected as secretary/treasurer.  Mike has served on the Aux Board since 2017.

“Dave’s role as chairperson will provide strategic leadership and continuity to the Aux board”, said Diane Parham, President/CEO of Aux, adding “and the addition of Terri Mickelsen to the Board will ensure a fresh perspective on all things related to the CUSO”. “It is a privilege to be elected as chairperson by the Aux Board. I look forward to serving as chair, and along with the other board members, providing oversight and guidance for the critical support that this CUSO provides to the credit union industry”, remarked Dave Krause.

Other at-large Board members include Diane Arthur, VP, Finance at Sooper Credit Union, Bill Willingham, President/CEO of WyHy FCU, and Tessa Bonfante, all incumbents, who continue to serve on the Board.

InNetwork Board of Managers

Aux’s shared branch network, InNetwork, saw the two Incumbent members re-elected to the Board, with Chris Myklebust, Chief Transformation Officer of Canvas Credit Union, remaining its chairperson.  The three Members of the InNetwork Board are Chris Myklebust, Tessa Bonfante, vice chairperson, and new Board member Terri Mickelsen.
