CHADDS FORD, PA (November 20, 2023) — Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to community service, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (FMFCU) employees have dedicated a week to volunteer efforts through the FMFCU Foundation Care Crew Volunteering Week. This impactful initiative includes the assembly of personal hygiene disaster kits for the American Red Cross, generously supplied by FMFCU Foundation. Additionally, employees have volunteered at the West Chester Food Cupboard and undertaken yard clean-ups for seniors at Senior Community Services.
The bi-annual Care Crew Volunteering Week is a testament to FMFCU’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community well-being. Through this week-long initiative, employees are actively contributing to multiple community service projects, making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
As part of their volunteering activities, FMFCU employees assembled personal hygiene disaster kits to be distributed by the American Red Cross. These kits, containing essential items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and sanitary products, aim to provide comfort and support to individuals and families affected by disasters. The supplies for these kits have been generously donated by FMFCU Foundation, emphasizing the credit union’s dedication to supporting disaster relief efforts.
In addition to their work with the American Red Cross, FMFCU employees volunteered at the West Chester PA Food Cupboard, contributing their time to support local initiatives addressing food insecurity. This partnership reflects FMFCU’s commitment to addressing critical needs within the community. Employees also engaged in yard clean-ups for seniors at Senior Community Services in Delaware County, PA, recognizing the importance of assisting vulnerable populations and fostering a sense of community connection.
