SPOKANE, WA (June 10, 2020) — Global Credit Union partners with the Spokane Shock to kick off the 2020 Global Credit Union Wear RED campaign, designed to Remember Everyone Deployed.
This is Global’s eighth year participating in Wear RED Fridays. The campaign runs from May 22 until September 11, 2020 in partnership with KXLY. Members of the community are encouraged to stop by any Global Credit Union branch to pick up a red wristband to show support. Monetary donations are also accepted and distributed to three local charities: Operation Spokane Heroes, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 9 and Newby-ginnings of North Idaho.
“Our Wear Red campaign is just one way we thank our troops for their service,” said Global Credit Union President/CEO Jack Fallis. “Join us and wear red on Fridays to remember everyone deployed and the sacrifices that they and their families make.”
