Goldenwest Launches New Online Banking System

OGDEN, UT (June 29, 2013) After more than a year of preparation, Goldenwest Credit Union launched a new online banking system earlier this week. The new system touts the most recent advancements in online banking technology.

“Our new online banking experience provides members with enhanced self-service features, giving them greater capacity in managing their accounts and finances 24/7,” said Kerry Wahlen, Goldenwest President/CEO. “While we always enjoy meeting or speaking with our members in person, we understand they expect a certain level of electronic sophistication from their financial institution.”

Features of the new system include improved navigation, transaction search, financial management tools, enhanced security and file download capability for accounting software programs.

“Members are receiving tremendous value with the new online banking system as well as our mobile banking technology,” continued Wahlen. “Staying true to our not-for-profit financial cooperative business model, the online and mobile banking systems will continue to be offered free of charge.”

Members will need to complete a brief enrollment process to login to the new online banking program. The credit union strongly recommends members only use known-secure Internet connections when enrolling in the new system or whenever accessing their accounts.

Goldenwest partnered with the online banking industry-leader Jwaala to develop the new online banking system.
