Great Basin Federal Credit Union supports local kids in need

RENO, NV (December 3, 2021) — Great Basin Federal Credit Union has partnered with Communities in Schools® (CIS) of Nevada to donate gifts and spread the holiday cheer to local children in need through their annual Angel Tree program.

Christmas trees have been set up in the lobbies of the credit union’s three branches for members to donate gifts for local children in need this holiday season. Monetary donations are will also be accepted.

Those who wish to donate and participate are invited to pick up a tag from any Great Basin branch. Each tag contains a child’s gift “wish list.”  All donations must be new and placed in gift bags. Food will not be accepted. All presents must be returned by Tuesday, December 14th, 2021.

Communities in Schools works to encourage at-risk students to stay in school by equipping them with the tools and resources they need to be successful, to graduate, and to realize their full potential. All gifts and funds raised will be used to support deserving kids throughout the Washoe County School District during the holiday season and beyond.
