Greater Texas Credit Union donates matching funds to Austin Disaster Relief Network

AUSTIN, TX (November 30, 2020) — Greater Texas Credit Union matched $5000 in donations to Austin Disaster Relief Network as a part of ADRN’s Giving Tuesday campaign. Giving Tuesday is an annual event for non-profits to raise both awareness and support for their cause, occurring on December 1, 2020.

Austin Disaster Relief Network has a goal of raising $50,000 in 24 hours this year on Giving Tuesday, and is using the tags #GivingTuesday and #HopeisEssential to raise awareness and funds for disaster survivors and their communities.

Austin Disaster Relief Network partners with churches and volunteers in the Greater Austin area to serve those in crisis by providing immediate monetary, housing, and counseling resources, as well as long-term repairing and rebuilding. Since 2009, Austin Disaster Relief Network has assisted more than 43,000 disaster survivors, and has provided around $16 million in relief funds.
