Grow Financial Supports The Children’s Home of Tampa
Donates School Supplies and more than $300 in Gift Cards
TAMPA, FL (August 15, 2013) — Grow Financial recently announced that for the fifth year in a row, they have donated school supplies to The Children’s Home of Tampa. Employees of Grow Financial purchased gift cards in the total of $300 for the children to use for school, as well as supplies like paper, pencils, crayons, calculators, and much more! This year a total of 21 different areas consisting of the home office and branches at Grow Financial participated in donating to the back to school program. All of the supplies were delivered to The Children’s Home on August 13.
The Children’s Home of Tampa cares for children victimized by abuse, neglect and abandonment. The drive involved all employees at the Credit Union, in the corporate office and in all twenty-one branches. Grow Financial also sponsors fund-raising drives to benefit The Children’s Home, and donates gifts for the children during the holidays.
“Each year I am extremely pleased with the contributions our employees make to The Children’s Home,” said Margaret Bottiger, HR Generalist for Grow Financial, who coordinated the drive. “The Children’s Home has had a positive influence on the lives of children, families and this community, and we welcome every opportunity to support their good work throughout the year.”
