Harborstone Credit Union welcomes Tim Hoefel

LAKEWOOD, WA (June 20, 2023) — Harborstone Credit Union ($1.9B, Lakewood, WA) announces Tim Hoefel will serve as its new Senior Vice President & Chief Banking Officer, overseeing the credit union’s Retail Banking Division and Contact Center.  He was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known leadership development firm that is now an ALM First Company.

Tim began his career in financial institutions over 20 years ago. He has worked as a Branch Manager, District Manager, Area Manager, Retail Regional Director, and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Commercial & Business Banking Director at Umpqua Bank.
“Tim’s record of success here in the Pacific Northwest is plain to see and he will be a huge asset to the Executive Team here at Harborstone,” says Geoff Bullock, President & CEO.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also attended the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Tim is an active member of his community and uses his financial experience to support youth programs in the area. He is a board member for Junior Achievement of Washington and is the current Vice President for Communities in Schools of Kent.
Tim remains a lifelong Washington State resident and resides with his family in Kent, WA.
