Hawaii Credit Union League donates BizKid$ box set to Kapiolani Medical Center

(June 23, 2014) — Credit Unions for Kids & the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) recently partnered to enhance the financial education opportunities for patients and families at every Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospital in the U.S. The goal was for every state credit union league in the nation to purchase a BizKid$ box set of DVDs to give to its local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

Hawaii Credit Union League had been a sponsor of the BizKid$ broadcast on PBS Hawaii for several years. Donating the box set of DVDs to Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children aligns perfectly with the League’s commitment to financial literacy and reaching the next generation of credit union members.

Biz Kid$ is the Emmy Award winning and credit union funded public television series that teaches kids about money management and entrepreneurship, and now, Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children will have a box set of Biz Kid$ DVDs for patients and families to enjoy.
